"I ordered a cake from sweetesbakeshop.com..."
I ordered a cake from sweetesbakeshop.com, and while it did show up in one piece, the delivery was later than the time they originally gave me. I ended up waiting around because I didn’t want to miss it or risk the cake sitting outside, which was frustrating. The box looked fine and nothing was damaged, so I’m glad nothing was lost there. I just wish the delivery updates had been clearer so I wasn’t stuck guessing. Overall, it was okay, but not something I’d call a smooth experience.

"Ordering just felt way more frustrating than it should’ve"
I tried to place an order, but the whole process left me feeling annoyed. The site felt clunky and kind of confusing, and the pages were loading slowly enough that I started doubting whether things were going through correctly. I ended up checking my cart multiple times because I didn’t feel confident it was updating right. It just wasn’t a smooth or reassuring experience.

"Still waiting on a response"
I reached out and just never heard back. Like, not even a quick “we’ll look into it” or anything. I get that places get busy, but it’s frustrating when you take the time to contact them and then it’s just complete silence. Still waiting, I guess.

"Not much if you’ve got dietary restrictions"
I was hoping there’d be at least a couple vegan or gluten-free options, but I really couldn’t find much. Kind of a letdown, honestly. Anyway, the place looked nice and all, but yeah, disappointing if you need specific diet-friendly choices.

"Tiny portions for the price"
I ordered from Sweetes Bakeshop and, I mean, the cakes looked nice enough, but the portions were just really small. For what I paid, I expected a lot more. It felt more like a little sample than an actual dessert. I was disappointed and probably wouldn’t order from them again.

"Maybe it’s just me, but the packaging was rough"
Maybe it’s just me, but I was disappointed when this arrived. The box was crushed, and the cupcakes inside ended up getting smashed. They might’ve been fine otherwise, but the packaging really didn’t hold up.

"Really disappointing for a birthday celebration"
We ordered a cake for a birthday celebration, but it arrived way too late. it really took the joy out of the moment, and for something as important as a birthday, I don’t think that’s acceptable. Definitely not worth the stress.

"Not as fresh as I hoped"
I was really looking forward to these cupcakes, but they tasted kind of dry, almost like they’d been sitting out for a while. I was disappointed, honestly. I thought about reaching out to customer service, but based on past experiences with places like this, I didn’t really expect much help, so I just let it go...

I thought there would be way more options, but the selection felt super limited?? I kept looking around and couldn’t really find what I was after, so I ended up just leaving the site. Disappointing, honestly.

"Felt overpriced for a average cake"
Stopped in expecting something really special. The prices kind of made me pause, but I figured okay, maybe it’ll be worth it. though... the cake was just fine. Not bad, not amazing. Just one of those times where you take a bite and think, yeah, I’ve had better for less.

"Nice staff, but kind of hit or miss"
The staff were mostly friendly and greeted me, which I appreciated. One person was really helpful, but another seemed a little rushed and didn’t seem that interested when I asked something. Maybe it was just that day, but usually when that happens, it makes the whole experience feel a bit inconsistent. It wasn’t bad overall, just okay. I think the place would feel a lot better if the friendliness was more consistent across the board.

"The site felt like a bit of a disaster"
The website felt cluttered and outdated to me. The photos were all over the place and didn’t line up nicely, which made browsing way more annoying than it needed to be. It kind of turned a simple visit into a tiny visual nightmare.

"Pickup took way too long"
I showed up expecting my order to be ready, but it still wasn’t done when I got there. Then I had to keep verifying the same info more than once, which got annoying while I was already waiting. Overall, the pickup took way longer than it should have.
